It’s been one hell of a year for me in regards to concert photography. Five years in and I’m still completely obsessed with getting the perfect shot. I’ve come a long way in regards to my photography skills but I’ve also struggled from a creative standpoint. Just as with my day job in tech marketing whereI try to combine classic elements of marketing with a modern digital forward thinking approach, I try to do the same with photography. There’s so much one can learn when it comes to settings, composure, lighting, and experimentation, but many times you need a bit of luck as well.
I’ve photographed close to 100 bands all across the world in 2016, here are my favorite shots from the past twelve months.
